The Building and Environmental Inspection Divisions review and monitor construction projects in the City, and enforce ordinances concerning junk vehicles, litter and weeds.

The Building Permit process is designed to assist both the contractor and owner by providing necessary technical inspections throughout the contraction process in order to assure conformance with applicable building codes.

The Demolition Division handles the removal of substandard structures, and assists the owners in the proper ways for repairing these homes. Please download the list of properties marked for demolition

Animal Control is responsible for enforcement of leash laws and pick-up of strays.

The Building Board of Adjustments meets monthly on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 4:00 PM in the Council Chambers.
