Water and sewer service to the City of Port Arthur is provided by the Utility Operations Department. Our Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

For new water and sanitary sewer connections, an applicant must complete a City of Port Arthur Water/Sewer Application. The applications are available in the Building Inspections Department located on the 1st floor of the Annex Building at City Hall, Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. After processing, the Building Inspections Department will notify the applicant by phone of the availability and cost for connection. For more information, please call 409 983-8261.

The Utility Operations Sewer Maintenance Division maintains sanitary sewer lines up to the property line of residences and private businesses. Residents are urged to refrain from disposing of cooking grease and large foreign objects in the sewer system. Should a sewer blockage develop in the city's lines please call 409 983-8550. A crew will be dispatched to your location as soon as possible.
